60 held in Sharjah for selling mobile call credit

Sharjah police rounded up 60 Bangladeshis caught selling mobile phone call credit at lower prices in violation of existing laws.

The 60 were arrested in various areas of the emirate and police said they raided the places after receiving many calls from the public.

“They were caught selling mobile phone credit without authorization from the service providers or any other authorized party,” Sharjah CID chief Colonel Jihad Sahoo said.
