Abu Dhabi cops seize 38 drugs in coffee boxes

Abu Dhabi police seized nearly 38 kg of hashish hidden inside coffee boxes by a couple from another Gulf country, newspapers said on Thursday.

A police patrol followed the man, 24, and his girl friend as they drove through the capital’s streets before stopping them.

Acting on a tip off, police searched the car and found 38.3 kg of hashish hidden in coffee boxes, which were covered by clothes and other stuff.

Police said the man is a known drug dealer and that they had watched him and the woman for some time.
