One person has died and another sustained serious injuries in a collision between two vehicles in the Al Quoz area on Monday.
According to General Mohammad Saif Al Zafeen, Head of Dubai Traffic Police, the accident took place at around 1am, when a car collided with a truck. The driver of the vehicle died on the spot.
In a separate an accident between two vehicles on Sheikh Rashid Road, in the direction of Abu Dhabi, caused a severe traffic jam that lasted more than two hours.
