Drunk European attacks cops in Fujairah

Fujairah’s police arrested a European man for being drunk in public and resisting authorities, a newspaper reported on Sunday.

Police on a routine night patrol this week found the man swaying on the road after leaving a hotel in the emirate and asked him to come with them.

“He refused and used force in resisting arrest. Police overpowered him and referred him to the prosecutor on charges of drunkenness and attacking authorities,” Al Khaleej Arabic language daily said.
