Indian businessman disappears from Dubai under mysterious circumstances

An Indian businessman has disappeared from Dubai under mysterious circumstances.

Mohammed Tahsiri, 28, is the owner of Bas Electronics store in Abu Dhabi and has been missing since March 25.

A family member told this website that a police complaint has been filed and the police have launched an investigation.

So far there has been no trace of Tahsiri’s whereabouts.

“He had come to Dubai from Abu Dhabi on March 24 and was staying with a relative  in Al Ghusais.

“The next day he spoke to his father in India at around 8.30pm.

Soon after that, he received a call from someone and went out to meet that person. There has been no trace of him since,” said his uncle Ahmed.

According to him, Tahsiri was about to start a new store in Dubai and had a lot of money with him at the time he went missing.

“He received two strange calls and went out of the house and never returned.

When we tried calling his phone, it was switched off,” he said. “Neither is there any trace of his car.”

“We have registered a complaint with the Mussafah Police Station in Abu Dhabi and the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi,” added Ahmed.

According to his relatives Tahsiri must have been carrying at least Dh100,000 at the time he went missing. “He was in the process of starting a new store in Dubai. Also missing is the Hyundai Accent that he was driving. It was a rent a car,” Ahmed said.

Tahsiri has been living in the UAE for the last seven years.
