Mercedes rams into Khorfakkan lamp post

Three Afghan nationals were injured in a traffic accident in Khorfakkan on early Sunday morning.

The Mercedes car they were travelling in rammed into a lamp post injuring all three and damaging the vehicle.

The operations room received information about the accident and immediately an ambulance and rescue team arrived at the site, according to the General Command of Sharjah Police.

Initial investigations reveal that the sudden swerving of the vehicle caused it to lose balance and hit the lamp post.

The injuries range between mild to medium. They were transferred to hospital for treatment.

Police called upon motorists to abide by traffic rules to avoid such accidents.
