Soldier jailed for 6 months for taking drugs

The Dubai Criminal Court of First Instance sentenced MSM, a 20-year-old Emirati soldier, to six months in jail after finding him guilty of consuming drugs.

According to the records, the soldier was arrested on September 22 for consuming hashish and Tramadol.

The accused, whose urine tested positive to  hashish and Tramadol, confessed to taking Tramadol without medical prescription.
