Three workers steal scaffolding of Dh5000

An Indian worker allegedly with the help of other two compatriots stole 150 scaffoldings worth Dh5,000 from his employer, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.
 
On September 23 at around 3pm, the company’s manager received a phone call from the project manager telling him that the company’s two workers JM and RH and an unidentified person were loading scaffoldings in a pickup that did not carry the company’s name.
 
An unidentified man who saw the three loading scaffoldings took a picture of them and sent them to the company’s project manager.
 
The manager went to the work site and informed the police.

Police arrested JM, 40, RJ, 30 and SK, 37, who appeared in the pictures.
 
JM and RJ admitted to stealing their employer’s goods. SK admitted to helping them.
 
The three admitted that they sold the scaffoldings to an unidentified man.
 
Dubai Public Prosecution asked the court to implement stiffest penalty against the accused.
 
The court will reconvene on November 22.
