Trying to annoy woman lands man in court

An Emirati man allegedly groped a woman’s breast as he wanted to make her angry, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

SH, 23, British visitor had gone out with HM, 32, in his car on September 4.

“We stopped at Dubai Mall Down Town at around 7.30pm. While we were talking, he said he would like to see me angry. I told him to try to make me angry by saying anything. Then when I bent down to get something from my bag, he groped my breast strongly. When I yelled at him for what he did, he said that he was only trying to trigger my anger. I shouted saying that this is not an appropriate way to make me angry. As there was no taxi, he dropped me back home and then I lodged a complaint with the police,” SH told investigators.

The court will reconvene on January 11.
