A man suffered from difficulty in having babies following a medical error at a hospital where he had a surgery, a newspaper reported on Sunday.
The country’s top court found that the doctor committed a medical error that caused the patient a “blocking of sperm flow” and permanent disability.
The Supreme Federal Court upheld a previous court verdict ordering the unnamed doctor to pay Dh100,000 damages to the patient and a Dh10,000 fine.
“The court found that the doctor committed a medical error that caused the patient difficulty in having babies and a permanent disability,” Alkhaleej daily said without identifying the patient or the hospital.
