Girl stabs dad then jumps from 2nd floor

A Saudi girl under 20 years of age stabbed her father in the chest before jumping down from her second floor flat in the Gulf Kingdom, a newspaper reported on Thursday.

Ajel said both the girl and her father, in his 60s, were taken to hospital after suffering injuries, adding that they were reported later to be in a stable condition.

It said police in the Western Saudi town of Taif were investigating the case.
