Jail for man caught with 'artificial organ'

A Saudi court sentenced an Arab expatriate to 13 months in prison and ordered him lashed 50 times after he was caught trying to smuggle an artificial man’s organ.

Police arrested the unnamed man at King Khalid Airport in the capital Riyadh when they searched his bag and found the banned item.

‘Sabq’ newspaper said the court also ordered the deportation of the man, who arrived in Riyadh from another Arab country.
