Saudi Arabia’s feared religious police arrested a Pakistani restaurant owner for molesting a 23-year-old local man living in the area.
The Saudi told members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice that the 37-year-old Pakistani keeps sending him texts to his mobile phone expressing admiration for him and asking for a date.
“After examining the Saudi man’s mobile phone, they found scores of love messages sent by from the Pakistani man’s mobile phone…they arrested the man and referred him to the prosecution,” the Arabic language Alsaudeh newspaper said in a report from the capital Riyadh.
