Saudi Arabia’s feared religious police arrested a local farmer for pimping on his wife and turning his farm to a den of vice and liquor drinking.
Members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice raided the farm in the eastern province of Ihsa after watching it for nearly a week.
The raid late night resulted in the arrest of the 38-year-old man, six other men and an Ethiopian woman, according to Kabar newspaper.
They also found the man’s children aged between two and 11 years as the farmer wanted to detract the attention of police from his activities, it said.
“The man will be tried on charges of pimping on his wife and drinking alcohol….all the other men and the Ethiopian woman were also arrested,” it said.
