Five male vendors aboard a train in Egypt pulled the emergency switch causing the train to stop and then kidnapped a housewife aboard it and attempted to rape her.
According to Egyptian newspaper Al Balad, the woman was travelling unaccompanied to meet her uncle, when the group of men spotted her.
One of them pulled a gun and forced her to come along with them.
When she resisted, they pulled the emergency chain on the train which caused it to stop and then took her away into the fields where they raped her.
The woman’s relatives filed a police complaint which led to a massive search.
Sniffer dogs were used and the police finally tracked the men to an apartment.
When they broke into the flat, they saw the woman lying naked with her hands tied.
Two kidnappers have been arrested, while the others are absconding.
