Saudi wedding tragedy: Bride's father kills groom's brother entering women's hall

A wedding in Saudi Arabia ended in a tragedy when the bride’s father killed the groom’s brother to stop him from entering the women’s hall.

The bride’s father was receiving guests for the wedding at two separate halls for men and women when he spotted the groom’s brother and other relatives trying to enter the women’s hall in the northwestern town of Tabuk.

“He pulled his gun and shot at them.

“The groom’s brother was killed while the killer’s son was injured in exchange of fire between the two sides,” Sabq daily said without making clear if the incident affected the couple’s marriage.
