Two rape handicapped 15-year old in mosque

Kuwaiti police arrested two Indian men on charges of raping a 15-year-old local handicapped boy at a mosque where they are doing maintenance work.

The boy’s father told police his son revealed to him that the two molested and sodomized him twice while he was at the mosque praying.

“The two were arrested and would be tried on charges of committing indecent acts against a handicapped boy,” Alanba daily said.

Kuwait hunts for drunk driver who spat at police

Kuwaiti police have launched a massive manhunt for a drunk Gulf man who drove his car at over 200 km and spat at police before fleeing.

Traffic police hunting speeding vehicles with a hidden camera caught that car doing more than 200 km on a speedway near Kuwait City.

“When they stopped the car and told the driver about his reckless driving, he swore and spat at them before fleeing at high speed,” the Arabic language daily Alanba said. “As he drove away, he threw a liquor bottle out of the car and shouted to the police men ‘if you are men, you can get me.”

Maid accused of killing infant

An Asian housemaid is on trial in Abu Dhabi on charges of killing her new born baby and hiding his body inside a plastic bag in her wardrobe.

The prosecutor accused the maid of having a baby from an illicit relationship but the woman denied she killed the infant and having an illicit affair, saying she is married and was in her home country in July.

“She said she did not know if the baby was born dead or alive and that she wanted to clean the infant with her under wear,” Alittihad daily said.

“She told court that she then concealed the baby inside her wardrobe because she wanted to take him to her home country to see his father.”

The paper said the court adjourned the case to May 22.

Man hurt after hit by falling AC

An Indian man was injured when an air condition set fell on him while doing maintenance work at a school in Ras Al Khaimah.

The 35-year-old man, identified as Kumar M, was on a ladder doing repair for the conditioning system at a secondary school when he was hit by the falling machine.

He suffered injuries in his back and hands and was admitted to Saqr Hospital in the northern city.
