Video: Boy bunking class gets caught under school gate

A Saudi school boy who fled his class and tried to crawl out of the building was caught under the steel gate for more than a minute before he was pulled out by teachers.

A 100-second YouTube film, carried by the online Alarabiya Arabic language news service and regional newspapers showed the boy got stuck under the massive steel gate and was unable to move his body.

Teachers who rushed to the gate spent more than one minute trying to pull the boy from under the gate. When the 10-year-old boy was rescued, he was rebuked by a teacher.

“Why did you do this…don’t ever try it again,” one teacher told the boy, according to newspapers which did not say where in Saudi Arabia the incident took place.
