Husband kills wife with vacuum cleaner

A 39-year-old Kuwaiti man beat his wife to death with a vacuum cleaner then called the police to tell them he had committed the crime.

The unnamed Kuwait confessed to killing his wife but told police he had not planned the murder although police investigators believe otherwise.

Newspapers quoted the husband as telling police that he had called his wife to his house to settle marital disputes outside court and that they had a heated argument.

“He said that he was so enraged that he clutched the hoover and started hitting his wife with it…the man then called the police and asked them to come to take her body for burial,” the Arabic language daily Al Watan said.
