When Katrina Kaif danced to the tunes of 'Chikni Chameli', the entire nation shook a leg with her.
After Sheila, this was Katrina’s second successful stint as an item girl. However, now Mallika Sherawat is here to grab from Katrina the title of the most wanted item queen. And, none other than Ganesh Acharya has vouched for it.
According to media reports, the choreographer who made Katrina sway to 'Chikni Chameli' says that Mallika’s upcoming item number, 'Laila O Laila', would be bigger and better than 'Chikni Chameli' and will have the actress sport three different looks.
While Mallika reprises Zeenat Aman, Ganesh has stepped into the shoes of Amjad Khan. He claims that he’s a huge fan of the legendary actor and the song is a tribute to him.
The original song from ‘Qurbani’ has been reworked for Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Tezz’ and Sunidhi Chauhan has lent her voice for the same.
The number has been shot in Mumbai with 100 dancers. Dancer Bulbul, who appeared in the original song in Qurbani, will also be seen in this version.
