The President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler of Abu Dhabi, received messages from the Rulers of the seven emirates and each has declared three days of official mourning on the death of Sheikh Nasser bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The Court of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, mourned the death of Sheikh Nasser. The Court announced three days of mourning in Dubai.
In a statement, His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, offered his condolences to Sheikh Khalifa and to the rest of the Al Nahyan family.
His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, extended his condolences to Sheikh Khalifa, General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and to the rest of the Al Nahyan family.
His Highness Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, issued a statement mourning the death of Sheikh Nasser. In a statement issued by the Ruler's Court, His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, extended his condolences to Sheikh Khalifa, General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and to the Al Nahyan family.
In a statement, His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Ahmed Al Mualla extended his condolences to Sheikh Khalifa and to the rest of the Al Nahyan family.
The Federal National Council adjourned its session, which was scheduled for yesterday, on the demise of Sheikh Nasser.
