Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is in a wonderful mood to have some fun; first stop Dubai iftar party and later Eid celebrations in Mumbai.
The actor has decided to open his doors and arrange a lavish iftar party at his Bandra (Mumbai) residence, Mannat.
Shah Rukh Khan has been going through a rough patch. But all seem to have fallen into place now and he is ready to celebrate good times.
What better way to celebrate than a grand iftar party on the auspicious occasion of Eid.
Just a few weeks ago a concerned Shah Rukh announced the arrival of his premature third son AbRam, who was not keeping well, but is now regaining his health.
SRK is also recuperating from his shoulder surgery and the storm about alleged affair with Priyanka Chopra has also passed.
But besides all these Shah Rukh has another reason to be happy. His next film 'Chennai Express' is scheduled to hit the marquee on Eid August 9.
Earlier it was scheduled to be released on Aug 8 but when the Eid dates were announced in India the production team decided to postpone the release by one day.
Talking to reporters at a press conference Shah Rukh said, "Hum logon ke liye sabse badi hoti hai jab humari film release hoti hai (For movie stars our biggest celebration is when our movie gets released). I would really like to celebrate the day apart from the religious sentiments attached to it for all the good things happening around me. I will celebrate it with the whole team of my film. I will keep a party at home and we will all meet."
He added that the media too was invited to attend and that he would be serving special Ramzan delicacies. "It will be a great honour for me if everyone joins me," says SRK.
DUBAI FAST:
His Dubai iftar party will be part of the promotional tour for 'Chennai Express'. SRK along with Deepika Padukone will be in the emirates on August 1 and will observe fast during his visit.
He will open his fast at the Arabian Center along with all the fans gathered in the mall.
In a press statement Tim Jones, COO, Arabian Center said, “We are extremely delighted to announce an extravagant kick off to the Eid celebrations in the mall with the appearance of famous and prominent Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. We are also very excited that Shah Rukh Khan will break his holy fast in our mall.”
