After secret Hindu wedding, Urmila Matondkar plans a nikah

Urmila Matondkar's sudden marriage announcement surely took her fans by surprise and how.

She didn't let the paparazzi get a whiff of her secret wedding.

The 42-year-old actress got married to her boyfriend Mohsin Akhtar Mir, who is from Kashmir, in a traditional Hindu ceremony at her residence in Mumbai.

The wedding was a very private affair with only Urmila and Mohsin's family and closest friends attending the auspicious ceremony.

Urmila informed the media by issuing a statement, "We kept it an exclusive wedding with just family and friends at the celebration. Since our families wanted the wedding to be a low-key affair, we mutually decided to keep it private. We seek your blessings on embarking this new journey of our lives."

However, as per the latest reports in Indian media, the newly-married couple will now have a Muslim wedding, soon after their marriage is registered this week.

The beautiful couple even plan to throw a grand and lavish reception for the film fraternity and friends outside the industry few days after the nikah.

A loyal Manish Malhotra fan, the bride wore a stunning tangerine orange coloured lehenga (long skrit with blouse) with gold jewellery that blended with the outfit fabulously.

Her Bollywood friends showed support on Twitter and congratulated the actress on the occasion. Ram Gopal Verma, director and rumored boyfriend, wished his favourite actress on social media saying,

"Extremely happy to hear news about the most beautiful actress I ever worked with ..I wish from heart that her life wil b 'Rangeela' forever."
