Best beard look - Hugh Jackman, Bradley Cooper or Beckham?

It was hard at first to spot Novak Djokovic fans at Wimbledon where thousands gather to watch the tennis, but as the Serb marched towards victory over crowd favourite Roger Federer they started cheering louder.

The weather was mild and sunny and the All England Club said attendance had reached capacity of roughly 29,000 shortly after 1 p.m.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge rubbed shoulders with Hollywood royalty; Bradley Cooper, Kate Beckinsale and Orlando Bloom, Jude Law and Hugh Jackman, flanked by Prince Michael of Kent, Lord Freddie Windsor and his wife, actress Sophie Winkleman.

Victoria Beckham used seat in royal box as chance to show off a dress from her new collection; many were there keen to befriend their tennis heroes.

Among those attending were English film stars Kate Winslet and Orlando Bloom, South African golf great Gary Player, Australian actor Hugh Jackman and English director Guy Ritchie.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and his wife Kate, who saw Murray go down to defeat last Wednesday from the Royal Box, were back again for the men's final while former England soccer captain David Beckham and his wife Victoria also attended.

The Royal Box at Wimbledon was packed.

For Hugh, normally the dishiest of Hollywood hunks, looked altogether fearsome.

The Wolverine star is currently filming Joe Wright's 'Peter Pan' prequel in which he plays the dastardly pirate Blackbeard and looked suitably lethal even at Centre Court, with shaved head and Blackbeard's black beard.

He was dressed in a regular suit and wore sunglasses but they did little to improve his terrifying appearance.

Wife Deborra-Lee Furness took it in her stride as she sat next to her husband.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate, smiled and cheered as they held court in the elite seats along with England's other power couple, David and Victoria Beckham.

Bearded Beckham and Spice Girl-turned-designer wife recently celebrated their 15th anniversary, and they looked posh as ever at Wimbledon in a navy suit for him and a coordinating blue and maroon dress for her.

Suki Waterhouse and boyfriend Bradley Cooper attend the semi-final match between Novak Djokovic and Grigor Dimitrov on centre court on 4 July. Cooper in his roughly kept beard returned without his girlfriend to watch the men's final on July 6 between Djokovic and Federer.

Chris Hemsworth was also spotted with bread.

He plays a princely superhero in Thor, so it makes sense that Chris Hemsworth got the royal treatment at Wimbledon.

The Australian actor and wife Elsa Pataky took in the tennis tournament from the Royal Box on Sunday, watching as Roger Federer fell to Novak Djokovic in the men’s final.

It was the most celebrity-filled game Wimbledon has seen in a long while, so no wonder the famous men looked their best.
