Superstar Salman Khan is easily one of India’s most eligible bachelors in Bollywood.

Salman's 'single' status has been threatened many times but the hero seems unscratched and not ready yet.

From Sangeet Bijlani, Aishwarya Rai to Katrina Kaif, he charmed them all and has still managed to remain unmarried.

When we asked Salman if he ever plans to get married, the actor without hesitation replied, "I have been thinking about it. I have been married four times earlier (jokes). But it hasn’t worked out for me. But I will try for the fifth time (laughs)."

Most recently during a TV chat show 'Aap Ki Adalat' Salman said, "I will think about marrying only after the courts give their verdicts. If the verdicts go against me, I will marry only after coming out of jail."

Looks like Salman is finally gearing up, mentally at least, to get tied down.

Two months back Emirates 24|7 put out a list of top five probable Mrs Salman Khan - 'And the best bride for Salman Khan is...' and readers’ poll suggest Katrina Kaif winning the title hands down.

Now a matrimonial site in India, Shaadi.com, carried a survey to find the perfect match for the 'Dabangg' Khan.

Actress Katrina Kaif has topped the list of perfect matches for Bollywood's famous bachelor, and her former beau, Salman Khan.

Shaadi.com covered 21,000 respondents, and 69.84 per cent believed that Katrina, 28, would make an ideal wife for Salman, who turns 47 on December 27.

In the survey, several fans would like to see Salman's 'Dabangg' co-star Sonakshi Sinha as his off-screen life partner too while others won't mind seeing southern actress Asin as his better half in real life.

Another interesting survey around the 'Dabangg' star reveals that 62 per cent of Indian men don't want the actor to get married at all while 60.37 per cent women want him to settle down as soon as possible.
