Saif injured during 'Agent Vinod' shoot

Saif Ali Khan has been working day in and day out for his home production Agent Vinod.  After all, it’s a very important film to him.

The film is an action thriller and has loads of stunts. Thanks to the same reasons, according to reports, the Nawab of Pataudi has hurt himself while filming a scene.

Says a source, “Saif was shooting a car chasing sequence, where the car meets with a major accident. And while there was a body double doing the sequence, Saif was needed to shoot the initial part where he had to bump the car in a pole. He did it successfully, but in the bargain hurt his right hand.”

Although it was badly bruised, the bleeding was brought under control. On account of this incident, the actor has taken a two day break to recover the injury and shall get back to work when the doctor suggests.

Though Saif is safe now, the break is just a precautionary measure, to not make the injury worse so he can continue shooting further without trouble.

Agent Vinod is slated for a February release. Saif and Kareena will tie the knot in March 2012 once the film is released, Soha Ali Khan confirmed.
