Braveheart Hrithik Roshan recovering fast after brain surgery

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan is recovering fast after he underwent surgery for Subacute Subdural Haematoma, a blood clot that was lodged in his brain.

The surgery was conducted on July 7 at Mumbai's Hinduja hospital and Hrithik was moved to the recovery room for 48 hours post the operation.

Fans all over the globe prayed for his speedy recovery and Hrithik made sure he kept them in the loop about his condition.

On his Facebook fan-page Hrithik posted thumbs up picture (indicating his well-being) and wrote: "What's up!! Hope everyone's making d best of their day!"

"I'm horizontal but controlling and creating my environment to the best of my ability.... That's all we ever need to do! Hope your doing d same!"

Besides his father Rakesh Roshan, mother Pinky, elder sister Sunaina and wife Sussanne — the actor was not keen on having any visitors.

The actor had prepared well for the surgery. A day before the surgery, he got portion of his head shaved where the incision was made.

He refused general anesthesia so only local anesthesia was administered. Though the medical fraternity described the surgery as a fairly common procedure to clear a blood clot, the Roshans were nervous.
 
Hrithik is expected to be discharged by Wednesday (July 10).
