The 'America's Got Talent' host, who was diagnosed with Lupus in 2012, admits he has been running himself "to the ground" recently, but has assured his fans he is doing "good."

The 34-year-old star, who has four-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with estranged wife Mariah Carey, posted a photograph of himself from his hospital bed on Instagram on Wednesday, along with a lengthy message explaining what is wrong with him.

Nick was hospitalized with kidney failure in January 2012, then wife Mariah Carey shared this photo asking fans to 'pray for Nick' and adding the hashtag '#mybraveman'. (Twitter)

He wrote: "Dont worry, Temporary pit stop... Sometimes I can be a little too bull headed and stubborn. I gotta stop running my body to the ground. I be wanting to grind nonstop but the engine can't run on fumes. On the low though, I really think I'm a super hero... Now I'm not saying I'm Batman, but I am saying nobody has ever seen me and Batman in the same room together. LOL #ImGood (sic)"

Nick previously claimed his autoimmune disease drives him.

He said: "It was one of those things where, even when I first got sick, I told them to turn the cameras on. I created the NCredible Health Hustle and I wanted to document this process because I wanted to inspire others that may be dealing with this condition or a similar condition. To say, you don't have to let it stop you."
