Coming to Dubai: Prepare to be rocked by Saad Lamjarred and Ja Rule this Friday

Moroccan sensation, Saad Lamjarred, will rock the main cultural stage at Global Village this Friday, November 20, with a concert brought by Morocco Pavilion.

Saad Lamjarred’s popularity has soared following his latest hit single ‘Ma’allem’ which received over 190 million views on YouTube.

In 2007, he came second on the Arabic television show ‘Super Star’ and he has since gone on from strength to strength, picking up a number of accolades including a nomination for "Best Arabic Song" at the MTV Europe Music Award for ‘Enty Baghya Wahad’.

Lamjarred developed his passion for singing at the early age of four and attended the Conservatory of Music in Rabat where he studied music theory. The show is set to be electrifying with many guests already excited at the prospect of hearing popular hits such as ‘Mal Hbibi Malou’.

Concert is set to start at 8:30pm onward and is part of Global Village’s concert series set for the 20th season.

Ticket entry prices will remain Dh15 for adults and free entry for children under three. People with a disability and adults over 65 years receive free entry.

Santana... and La Bomba De Tiempo

Multiple Grammy Award Winner Santana to perform at the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival on February 26, with the Argentinian Group La Bomba De Tiempo opening for the guitar legend.

“We are very excited to announce the return of the legend in 2016; icons like Santana will surely attract the crowd from all generations and also from countries in the region.” stated Anthony Younes, CEO and founder of Chillout Productions.

Ja Rule at Movida this Friday

One of the most iconic rappers Ja Rule will be performing at Movida Dubai this weekend.
Busting out classics like 'Livin' It Up' and 'Always On Time' Ja Rule will perform 'live' on Friday, November 20, alongside Movida's resident DJ Bliss.
