Not just simply the Dabangg of Bollywood, actor Salman Khan was spotted at Holy Family Hospital in Bandra, Mumbai, helping kids with cochlear implant facilities to help them overcome their hearing deficiency.

On the occasion, in support of his NGO, ‘Being Human’s initiative, he said, “We try to do our best, helping people with ‘Being Human’. We have an efficient team that works towards this.” And adds, “We try that nobody goes empty handed and disheartened.”

When asked about his personal involvement in the NGO despite his busy schedule, he says, “I try as much to keep track of what’s going on. Dad and Dr. Sandeep handle it majorly and as many people who come to me to seek help, I direct them to ‘Being Human’.”

Explaining how it works, he says, “We only give money to the doctors or the hospitals. Not that we provide money to a father who wants their girl to get married. My father got married in Rs 180, so if they want that much money, we can afford to give it to them.” And adds, “Health wise if money can save one’s life and can give you a better quality of life then we will go to any extent to do so.”

Salman will be seen soon enough in the upcoming ‘Jai Ho!’, which was earlier titled as ‘Mental’ slated to release in January, 2014.
