Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar was in for a surprise when actress Kareena Kapoor decided to celebrate his birthday on the sets of 'Heroine'.
While dubbing for the film, Kareena Kapoor surprised Madhur Bhandakar with a birthday cake and also gathered all the crew members to wish the director on his special day.
"I am either working or out on a family trip on my birthday. It was very sweet of Bebo (Kareena) to give me this birthday surprise," said Bhandarkar, who turned 43 on Sunday.
The dubbing of the movie is in full swing and Kareena was in the set recording her dialogues when the idea struck her.
Bhandarkar's 'Fashion' heroine Priyanka Chopra also wished him on his birthday: "Happppppy Bday @mbhandarkar268 ure a dear friend and a wonderful filmmaker..jalwa sirji!!!!! Good luck with Heroine!"
Produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Bhandarkar Production, 'Heroine' will release on September 21.
