Katrina unfazed competing with Shah Rukh

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been roped in as the brand ambassador of fruit juice Frooti, a rival mango drink brand for Slice, endorsed by Katrina Kaif.

Gen-next Imran and Parineeti feature for the first time together in TV commercial for Maaza. The Mango drink from Coco Cola has recently shot a TV advertisement with the two actors.
 
But Katrina believes in taking competition in the right spirit.
 
Katrina, who has been endorsing Slice since 2008, considers most brands and their marketing is "different".
 
She also believes that anything she does in the market will have opponents and that is why the competition is so high. But at the same time she feels most brands have a different message in term of marketing.
 
Katrina features in a new TV commercial for Slice. In an earlier commercial, she showcased her seductive side, in the new ad, which went on air Thursday; she has showcased her playful nature.
 
We wonder if Imran-Parineeti could give tough competition to Katrina Kaif with their funny ad.
 
For the Frooti ad, Shah Rukh shot with kids, and according to Parle Agro, which is the parent brand, the commercial is an answer to brands which are "busy wooing viewers with seductive commercials".
 
Other heroines who endorse drinks are Kareena Kapoor - the face of Limca (though not a Mango drink) and Asin who endorses Miranda.
 
"Today, the consumer feels they deserve the best, and that's why there's so much advertising and marketing for each product. But at the end of the day, the choice is with the consumer," Katrina told reporters.
