Outrage over Vogue model aged just 10

Readers are outraged after the top fashion magazine Vogue printed provocative pictures of a 10-year old model. The controversial issue has sparked tremendous disgust online.

The model, Thylane Lena-Rose Blondeau, is the daughter of French international footballer Patrick Blondeau and TV presenter Veronika Loubry

The shots show Thylane posing on leopard print cushions, sporting a full face of make-up and wearing skimpy, cut-away clothes, reveals The Sun. Ins ome other shots, the pre-teen is seen applying lipstick and wearing a metallic dress with the front cut to the waist.

The images have fanned the debate about the sexualisation of young girls, said the tabloid. Thylane is just the latest in a long line of young stars groomed for modelling.

Last month, Britain's PM David Cameron called for more stringent rules on the depiction of children and the creation of a website where parents can complain about inappropriate material.
