Post bitter defeat, Virat Kohli rushes to meet sweetheart Anushka

India’s Asia Cup performance under his captaincy was a disappointment but star batsman Virat Kohli is ready for the hard grind of the Twenty20 World Cup, which begins in Bangladesh on Sunday.

Virat tweeted on March 13: "Well rested. Time to get back to the grind now!"

And guess where he go to rejuvenate - Sri Lanka, where his "good friend Anushka Sharma is shooting for her film 'Bombay Velvet'.

An Indian media-person spotted Virat Kohli returning from Colombo in the same Jet Airways flight.

There is certainly much more than love blooming in Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s life.

The two have been flying to different destination to meet each other every now and then, providing enough fuel to the paparazzi.
 
Kohli and Anushka were last in the news when Anushka made a quick trip from Sri Lanka down to New Zealand to meet Virat.

There were even pictures of the two holding hands while on a stroll in Auckland.

Anushka also ushered in the New Year with the star cricketer at her pad in Mumbai and the star batsman has plonked himself in her residence since his return from South Africa tour.

When newspapers started reporting about their blooming affair there were few objections and denial. But soon Anushka accepted in an interview to a daily that Virat does comes to see her whenever he's in Mumbai.

Now this trip to Sri Lanka has cemented their friendship further and leaves no room for doubt about their relationship.

We hope Virat's trip catch up with Anushka will pay dividend for his team on field as well.
