Ranbir Kapoor all set to propose marriage to Katrina Kaif?

There you go - time has come when Ranbir Kapoor is willing to lose his 'bachelor' tag for good. Ladies eat your heart out!

If reports are to be believed, 'Besharam' star Ranbir Kapoor, after getting a go-ahead from parents Rishi kapoor and Neetu Singh, will finally propose to long-time girlfriend Katrina Kaif on his birthday on September 28.

Although most were expecting this to happen eventually, a million hearts are still going to break.

When the couple first met on Rajkumar Santoshi's 2009 rom-com 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani', sparks flew.

Though Ranbir was dating 'Chennai Express' star Deepika Padukone at the time, he couldn't stop himself from asking Katrina out and they've been together ever since.

The two always denied their romance but their affair came in light when they were photographed frolicking in the beach of Spain, partying in Ibiza and later holidaying in Sri Lanka.

Katrina was evidently very upset when the pictures were published and wrote a stern letter to the media about encroachment of her privacy.

Ranbir's parents Rishi and Neetu initially were none too happy with his choice (as was the case when he was dating Deepika), but that minor detail was finally ironed out, and only after good boy Ranbir got his parents' approval did he plan on taking this further.

But here's a glitch - people close to Katrina completely denies this report saying Ranbir will be busy travelling in order to promote his upcoming movie 'Besharam.'
