Salman Khan not hospitalised: family

A story doing the rounds on Thursday night shocked Bollywood.

News was trickling in that Salman Khan had been hospitalised and that he was also undergoing an angiography.

A couple of leading Indian news channels even confirmed the same by running the news on tickers on their channels.

There was widespread panic as everyone started calling ‘Bhai’ and his family to know what had happened to him.

His family and friends were quick to react in this and denied that Salman was in hospital or anything was wrong with him.

As of now, no one has spoken to Salman and we haven’t heard anything from the horse’s mouth.

Interestingly the news comes a few ahead of his big release 'Bodyguard' which has been one of the most low profile releases of Khan in recent times and that too at a time when everyone has been expecting him to deliver his hat-trick of hits after 'Dabangg' and 'Ready'.

Which has some circles claiming that this may be a publicity stunt.

Though to be fair, everything Salman Khan does is a publicity stunt – whether intentional or not.
