Drashti wins 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa'; Hrithik dances with Lauren

The big night for 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6' witnessed some of the most entertaining performances of the season. The 4 finalists Drashti Dhami, Shaan, Lauren Gottlieb, and Sonali danced their heart out.

But the 'Madhubala' fame actress, Drashti, took home the title. Lauren Gottlieb was the first-runner up and Sonali and Sumanth won the third place.

Drashti has been a hot favorite from the beginning of the show and as the competition progressed the actress proved herself to be not just a beautiful actress, but also a wonderful dancer as well.

From a non-dancer she went on to give tough competition to the American dancer Lauren Gottlieb who was the favorite to win this dance competition.

The top four celebrity contestants battled injuries, put in extra hours at rehearsals, stepped out of their comfort zones, embraced the grind and wowed the judges with their flawless dance moves.

After winning the show, the 28-year-old Drashti thanked everyone and said: “I want to thank everyone. My mom, who is not here right now, she is out of town…I love you mommy! I want to thank my friends, Salman’s friends…”

The lucky winner takes home the prize money of INR 50 lakh along with the trophy.

'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6' began 12 celebrities - Shweta Tiwari, Karanvir Bohra, Siddharath Shukla, Meghna Malik, Suresh Menon, Ekta Kaul, Aarti Chabaria, Krishnamachari Srikkant, Drashti Dhami, Shaan, Lauren Gottlieb and 'India's Got Talent' winners Sonali and Sumant - has been judged by Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit and Remo D'Souza.

The grand finale saw Bollywood's A-listers Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra promoting their next movie 'Krrish 3'. The Bollywood biggies jived with the judges, contestants and the hosts, making the finale round an unforgettable event.

The duo also performed on the song “Raghupati Raghav” from the film with other contestants – Mukti Mohan, Sana Saeed, Karanvir Bohra and Siddharth Shukla.
