The kitchen of ‘MasterChef India 3’ just got spicier as three famous small screen stars come to support their favourite contestants.

'Balika Vadhu' fame Pratyusha Banerjee, ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 5’ winner Gurmeet Choudhary and Shabbir Alhuwalia from the Bollywood movie ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’ will appear on a special episode of 'MasterChef'.

The three actors visited the set of the show to cheer and support the contestants in their last challenge before the finale.

Shabbir came in support for Navneet, Gurmeet gave a strong hand to Ripudaman and Pratyusha stood by Doyal’s side.

‘MasterChef India’ has now reached its final week and three contestants are currently vying for the trophy of India’a best chef.

Initially 12 contestants were a part of the cooking reality and now the three who remain are:  Ripudaman Handa, Doyal Sarangi and Navneet Rastogi.

The one who impresses the three judges will walk home with Rs10 million (Dh640,533).

Chef Vikas Khanna titled 'The Hottest Chef in the World' will look at three parameters while judging the dish “’Soch’ (thought), ‘Surat’ (presentation) and ‘Swad’ (taste); the thought behind the food, the presentation of the dish and of course the flavours of the dish," he informed Emirates24|7.

But impressing the other two judges Sanjeev Kapoor and Kunal Kapoor as well will not be a cake walk for the participants.

Following the announcement of the winner, MasterChef India will come out with Junior MasterChef where kids between the age group of 8-12 years will show their cooking talent.

Auditions of Junior Masterchef have started kindly. For more information you can log on to starplus.in.
