Dubai's Indian classical music fans are in for a treat this weekend. Roopkumar Rathod, Pt Ajay Pohankar and Abhijit Pohankar will perform mesmerizing Ghazals, Electic Jugalbandis, Thumris and Bollywood music on December 29 at Sheikh Rashid Auditorium on Oud Metha Road.
Rathod, the versatile singer will enthrall fans with his soulful voice and endearing compositions.
The mellifluous singer is known for giving some scintillating music for Bollywood. 'Sandese aate hain' from Border and 'Tere Liye' from Veer Zara are a couple of his award winning hits.
The singer will be sharing the platform with two eminent classical artists Pt Ajay Pohankar and Abhijit Pohankar.
Together the trio will create a fusion of Indian classical music that has not been heard before in Dubai.
This Thursday head straight to the Sheikh Rashid auditorium at Indian High school. Doors will open at 7pm and the event will start at 8.30pm.
Tickets are priced at Dhs500, 300, 200, 100, 75, 50.
