Get some popcorn and settle down for this spicy Bollywood real-life ex-lovers' tiff.

Indian actress Kangana Ranaut is known for her honesty and candid remarks.

In most of her interviews Kangana doesn't mince words and speaks her mind out - at times slamming the movie industry or randomly picking on her colleagues.

Her devil-may-care attitude has ruffled feathers here and there. And this time Kangana is out to take on Hrithik Roshan and the 'Krrish' actor seems to have taken the bait.

It was rumoured for a long time that Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik had a clandestine relationship with Kangana.

However, things changed between the two when Hrithik was not very keen to go public about their relationship.

The recent feud began when entertainment website Pinkvilla spoke to Kangana and asked her reaction on being ousted from upcoming movie 'Aashiqui 3' at Hrithik's behest.

Rananut said, "Yes, many lame rumours are doing rounds, even a dumb ass can tell where these rumours are coming from. I don't know why exes do silly things to get your attention. For me that chapter is over and I don't dig graves."

Yes, you read it right. Kangana Ranaut referred to Hrithik as her 'ex' - inadvertently accepting to their past relationship.

While media was still reeling after Kangana refereed to Hrithik as an ex, the actor, who usually keeps mum about his personal life, gave a statement of sorts on Twitter.

We wonder what triggered him to speak out suddenly, probably the 'silly ex' remark was hard for the macho man to digest.

Hrithik tweeted,"Ther r more chances of me having had an affair with d Pope dan any of d (Im sure wonderful)women d media hs ben naming. Thanks but no thanks.(sic)"

Ouch! That must have hurt Kangana.

But the 'Queen' actress is not the kind to stay quiet - she sent out a warning.

In a conversation with NDTV, Kangana said that she isn't hurt and respects the other person's opinion.

She said, "No. I am not hurt. I respect the other person's opinion also. It's very likely that a person can have a different perspective on the same situation or rather the past. But then, stick to your stand. Don't slyly pursue people and spy on them, and chase them. So, we sign and seal the deal and then move on."

That's like a total blow to Hrithik's tweet.

So are we going to witness more public mud-slinging?
