Shah Rukh Khan hasn’t paid Kareena Kapoor for working in Ra One till now. Not that King Khan does not have any money for, but the actor-producer was rather forthright in asking Bebo how much she should be paid for the film which is the most expensive movie in Bollywood history.

And Kareena did not give him a number at all. Rather than quote a figure, she put off the query and preferred not to answer it.

“When I asked Kareena how much I should pay her, she was, like, “Shah, we’ll see to that later.” Of course, I will pay her but there was a lot of kindness from the people who worked with me,” says Shah Rukh Khan who has also promised to doa  smaller film for the buyers of the film Eros International if Ra One does not pull in as much money as they want to.

Ajay or Jaya for Jr B?

Jaya Bachchan and Ajay Devgn (AFP)

Never mind what the world says and what opinion his mother Jaya Bachchan may have on the fact that he should not be having six pack abs, Bachchan Junior clearly is in a mood to pump in adrenalin and inject some muscles into his system.

For someone who initially seemed to be paranoid at the idea of taking off his shirt without his vest being in place, one could expect a new look Abhishek Bachchan for the film Bol Bachchan.

A lean and mean Ajay Devgn did beef it up for Singham ensuring that he set another example for actors wanting to muscle their way up the ladder in Bollywood.

And acting on Ajay and director Rohit Shetty’s advice is Abhishek who has been gymming regularly. And for once Ajay has over ruled his anagram Jaya and ensured that his co star looks good enough to take him on in his next installment with Shetty at the box office.

‘The poster is fake

Mink Brar (AFP)

Mink Brar is upset with the news of her having acted in a B-grade movie, the actress clarifies her stand Recently Mink Brar was creating headlines with the news that she had done a B-grade film in America. And a poster was also released with a title, ‘Desert Queen’. But this has shocked the actress and she states a denial.

“I am not a porn star. Since the time the news was out, friends and people have been calling me and asking about it.

But I want to clarify that I have not done any porn movie.

I was shocked to see the poster, I could just not react. The poster is fake and someone has created it to portray me in bad light,” says the item girl.

In fact Mink states that she had not left the country in the recent past. “The fact is that I have not been to America of late and can even show my passport.

The last time I went abroad was during ‘Zor Ka Jhatka’, after which I was in Mumbai. I will never ever do a porn movie and am very upset with such news.

I have not thought of suing those who have published this news because I live alone in Mumbai, so it is tough for me to get into a case,” says Mink.

Being an actress, Mink does not mind doing sensual scenes onscreen, but only in Bollywood.

She says, “I would love to do sensual scenes in Bollywood.

These things are portrayed well in India like in ‘Delhi Belly’, ‘Murder 2’ or even Karan Johar’s movies.

Things have become more open in Bollywood, so there is nothing bad in exposing.

People have started watching such movies and being an actress I am ready to do so. If an actress has a good body and a nice shape then there is nothing bad in doing such films.”

Vikram planning Haunted sequel

(AGENCIES)

It seems to be sequel time in the Bhatt camp.

With Mahesh Bhatt working on ‘Murder 3’, we have Vikram Bhatt planning a sequel to his 3D horror flick, ‘Haunted 2.’ “It really feels great to see the success of a movie.

After the success of ‘Haunted’, now we are planning a second part to the film. Movies are doing some good business, like recently ‘Murder 2’ was also a huge hit. So it feels good,” says Vikram.

As for the success of ‘Haunted’, this director credits it all to the 3D effect. He says, “‘Haunted’ was a hit because the audience experienced horror in 3D for the first time in Bollywood.

Earlier when ‘Raaz’ was a hit, people said it was because of the music. And I replied that I had put the music to make it a movie, likewise this time too I had included the 3D technique to make the movie hit and add some extra feel to it.”
