If you were wondering where exactly Veena is these days and what she is upto, then here’s a Veena update: The actress who has given many Indian filmmakers a hard time with her disappearing act  – especially Hemant Madhukar who has 11 crores and a film riding on her – is now out of her long hibernation with some fresh news.

The actress who was in Dubai said she was here for both business and pleasure.

It is now known that the Pakistani actress has somehow managed to sign a fashion project and a film deal.

Confirms the former model, “Recently, a UK film team was in Dubai and I was shortlisting a few offers that would suit me. I have zeroed in on a few fashion projects and a film. I can't reveal more at the moment.”

As for the heartache the actress absence has caused to her upcoming films, the actress says that her directors are well aware of her whereabouts and “all is under control”.

The actress also feigns indifference about her item number being cut from ‘Gali Gali Chor Hai’ before it was shown to Anna Hazare  and calling it “a director’s call” will soon be seen in ‘Zindagi 50:50’ with Riya Sen.
