We have all witnessed how two Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan would leave no stone unturned to take a dig at each other in public.

Their infamous fight of 2008 during Katrina Kaif's birthday celebration is legendry.

But there was also a time when Salman and Shah Rukh were best friends.

And this weekend on reality show 'Bigg Boss 7' Salman couldn’t help remembering his old friend.

On weekend episodes, host Salman interacts with the contestants and tries to iron out issues in the house.

The actor also narrates his experiences to the contestants and the public. This time it was something to do with none other than arch rival Shah Rukh Khan.

The topic was regarding 'snoring' and as inmates tried to decide which contestant snores the most in the house, Salman Khan let out SRK's secret.

He said, "I remember we were shooting for 'Karan Arjun'. Some guests had arrived, and so Shah Rukh gave up his room for the guests. He then came to our room. So now in our room we had Shah Rukh, Sohail, Bunty Walia, and Sushil (a friend).

The five of us had to spend the night together in the room. It so happened that Shah Rukh, (on falling asleep), started snoring. At first, we found it funny and started to laugh.

But then as the hours ticked away, at about 3 AM, the laughs turned into 'wheezing' and we no longer felt like laughing. We wondered what we do! We then slowly and steadily, pushed him off the bed. So he woke up, lost his sleep and we ended up sleeping really well."

This tale goes on to show how close Salman and Shah Rukh were at one point of time.

Of late, we have also witnessed the two Khans getting little soft on their rivalry.

It was a surprise for many when Salman attended SRK's 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' premiere and the fact that they danced together with Amitabh Bachchan. Of course, the great 'iftar hug' caused a tremor in Bollywood sending signals of reconciliation.

People were still reeling with the aftershocks when both made it clear that it was just a courtesy hug during the holy month of Ramadan.

Nevertheless, it's good to see two long lost friends being nice to each other.

And we hope to hear many more heartwarming anecdotes from host Salman Khan as ‘Bigg Boss 7’ continues.
