Geri Halliwell splits from boyfriend

Geri Halliwell has reportedly split up from Henry Beckwith.

The former Spice Girl and the British aristocrat - who was noticeably absent from her 39th birthday celebrations at London members' club Annabel's on Saturday night - reportedly separated after dating for over two years due to rows about his excessive partying.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Geri came to the realisation that things weren't going to work with Henry.

"The age gap meant he had a wandering eye when it came to other women and he was interested in partying. She doesn't trust him."

Another reason for the break-up is that Henry, 32, didn't want to have a child or get married with 38-year-old Geri - who has a five-year-old daughter, Bluebell Madonna, from a brief relationship with screenwriter Sacha Gervasi.

The singer is now being comforted by her sister Natalie in the wake of the split.

The source added: "They are still close but Geri is very upset. Natalie has been supporting her."

Geri has previously admitted she would like to have more children, saying: "I haven't ruled out [having more kids]. I do love being a mum, although I have to say I feel like I am more in my element now that Bluebell is a bit older.

"I'm enjoying this stage more than the baby part of it because I can interact with Bluebell. It's great having a daughter."
