The world is falling apart and fans' nerves are being tested on the topic of Aishwarya Rai's Beti B naming ceremony.

First, there were rumours that actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s newborn would be revealed on festival day; then we heard Oprah Winfrey would name her on her talk show, then we read somewhere that Beti B would be called Aaliya.
 
But these were just speculations and rumours.
 
The latest is that Beti B is likely to be named Abhilasha. This doesn't come from the family but and friend of course.

A tweet from author Shobhaa De sparked off speculation on the name of Beti B.
 
Shobhaa De tweeted: “Beti B to be named Abhilasha? That’s a stroke of genius. Well done,parents. Abhi and Ash. Truly inspired, if true.” One should mark the question mark in the tweet. Very cleverly put Ms De. The word 'Abhilasha' means a wish or desire.

However, Beti B's grandfather Amitabh Bachchan, who is currently undergoing treatment in a Mumbai hospital, has denied the report on Twitter by replying "not true ..." to Shobhaa De's tweet.

But that did not stop people on Twitter from sharing the news, most retweeting De's cryptic tweet which does not specifically confirm the news.
 
Aishwarya gave birth to a baby girl on November 16, at the Seven Hills Hospital in Marol, Mumbai.
 
But one fails to understand what the secrecy all about is and what is the family waiting for?

Father Abhishek Bachchan has revealed few days back at the National Indian Leadership Forum that a certain name has been decided, but he refused to divulge any further information.
 
Maybe they are waiting for Amitabh Bachchan to be discharged from hospital and return home healthy.

Sr Bachchan was the first one to reveal the news of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s pregnancy on Twitter. And probably he’ll be the first from the Bachchan family to deliver the news.
