Julia Roberts opens up about half-sister's death

Julia Roberts is heartbroken over her half-sister Nancy Motes' death in February but is trying to find a way to move forward.

Julia Roberts is still trying to come to terms with her half-sister's death.

The 'August: Osage County' star has broken her silence for the first time since her sibling, Nancy Motes, died from an apparent drug overdose in February, and revealed she is seeking comfort in meditation.

The 46-year-old actress told WSJ. Magazine, in a tearful interview conducted just weeks after the former production assistant was found dead: "It's just heartbreak. It's only been 20 days. There aren't words to explain what any of us have been through in these last 20 days. It's hour by hour some days, but you just keep looking ahead."

She added: "You don't want anything bad to happen to anyone, but there are so many tragic, painful, inexplicable things in the world. But [as with] any situation of challenge and despair, we must find a way, as a family. It's so hard to formulate a sentence about it outside the weepy huddle of my family."

The brunette beauty also admitted that she is doing everything she can to cope with the loss.

She said: "Meditation or chanting or any of those things can be so joyous and also very quieting. We share and just say, 'This is a way I comfort myself.' "

It has previously been claimed that Nancy - who had a "complex" relationship with her famous sibling - had left a "ranting" note prior to her death allegedly claiming the actress' fame had driven her to suicide.

Meanwhile, Julia also claimed that she doesn't consider herself to be a celebrity.

She said: "I don't consider myself a celebrity, [at least not] how it is fostered in our culture today. I don't know if I'm old and slow, but there seems to be a frenzy to it."

Peaches Geldof's husband to sell their home

Peaches Geldof's husband Thomas Cohen is planning to sell their countryside home in Kent where the late star's body was found earlier this month.

Peaches Geldof's husband Thomas Cohen is reportedly planning to sell the countryside home where she died.

The S.C.U.M rocker is too distraught to return to their home in Wrotham, Kent, where the 25-year-old star's body was discovered on April 7, and wants to put the property on the market once the police have finished their investigation.

A friend told the Sunday People newspaper: "Tom has said that he can't return to the house, he wants to immediately sell the place and move.

"It is just too heartbreaking for him there, he is in bits and can't bear to live in the place where his beloved wife died.

"He has some very happy memories of living there with Peaches and bringing up their babies but it's so, so painful for him to think about living there now. We're worried about Tom, he can't believe he is a widower, with two young kids, at 23. It's heartbreaking to see."

Thomas, who has sons Phaedra, 11 months, and Astala, 23 months, with the blonde beauty, will attend Peaches' funeral at St Mary Magdalene church in Davington, Kent, where the couple married in 2012, later today (21.04.14).

Peaches' death is being treated as "non-suspicious", but an autopsy proved to be inconclusive earlier this month.

The star's family - including father Sir Bob Geldof and sisters Fifi, 31, Pixie, 23, and Tiger-Lily, 17 - now have an agonising wait while toxicology tests are carried out.

The 'The Voice' USA mentor already has a six-year-old son with her ex-husband, Jordan Bratman and will take next season off from the NBC series to focus on her family.

Christina announced she was expecting in February, a week after Matthew proposed.

A source previously said: "It wasn't expected, but it also wasn't unwelcome. They are all very excited though! Christina loves being a mom."

The couple met on the set of movie 'Burlesque' in 2010 while the Grammy Award-winning singer was going through her divorce.

Production assistant Matthew popped the question in the backyard of their new home in Los Angeles, which is still under construction, on Valentine's Day.

Christina was said to be completely "shocked" by Matthew's romantic sunset proposal, for which he wore a suit and filled a gazebo with candles and red roses, before taking her to celebrate with friends and family.

Taking to Twitter on Thursday, she said: "Mayhem. A mouse just shot out from behind the sofa. Screaming women (me loudest) and children. (sic)".

The brunette beauty, who has 12-year-old son Damian, even enlisted the help of her mother's cats to catch the rodents as they scurried around her living room.

She explained: "My mum on her way round with her two killer cats. I'm having a stiff drink.

"Operation Vermin started early this morning. On my hands and knees looking for evidence. (sic)".

She tweeted: "Thank you for all your rodent killing advice....taking it all on board. Have declared war on them. (sic)."

The star bought her mansion two years ago with her ex-boyfriend Shane Warne for a reported £6 million.

The 'Railway Man' star has been married to Keith Urban for seven years and admits he means everything to her.

The 46-year-old star recently admitted Keith showers her with love notes when they're apart in order to keep their relationship exciting.

She said previously: "For every single night he's away, he leaves me a love letter. Every single night of our relationship. It keeps us close."

When Nicole isn't filming, she enjoys accompanying the 'American Idol' judge on tour with their daughters Sunday Rose, five, and Faith Margaret, three, because she gets to indulge on fast food.
