The weekend gone by was, undoubtedly, an eventful one for Bollywood folks with birthday parties and success celebrations.

Two days, two stars, two big parties as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan celebrates her birthday and Shah Rukh Khan doubled his birthday celebration with the success bash of 'Happy New Year'.

Aishwarya turned 41 while Shah Rukh is on the verge of a half century at 49.

Filmmaker Karan Johar and designers Manish Malhotra, Prabal Gurung was among the close friends present at Aishwarya’s bash which went on till the wee hours of Sunday.

Her birthday coincided with the success party of 'Happy New Year' and built up to Shah Rukh Khan’s 49th birthday.

SRK's wife Gauri Khan hosted the success bash of their film and birthday party for SRK together.

Their children Aryan and Suhana assisted their mother in putting together the party, and looking after over 100 guests, who stayed on till 6.30 am in the morning.

Aishwarya Rai's birthday celebrations spilled over at Shah Rukh Khan's Mannat, on November 2, when they got together to cut a cake. 

 
The bash was well attended by B-town and the stars were seen having a fun time and posing for some crazy photos.

The guest list at SRK’s bash included the Bachchans — Amitabh, Jaya, Abhishek and Aishwarya, Karan Johar, Hrithik Roshan, Karisma Kapoor, Sonu Sood, Vivaan Shah, Farah Khan, Boman Irani, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Varun Dhawan, Malaika Arora Khan and Shilpa Shetty amongst others.

Sood and Bachchan Jr are said to have danced to the 'Happy New Year' songs at the party with their co-stars joining them one after the other on the dance floor.

There were performances by Mika Singh and Ali Zafar, too.

Madhuri Dixit danced on 'Ek Do Teen' while Hrithik Roshan settled for the title song of his debut film, 'Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai'.
