Jacqueline Fernandez and Sajid Khan no more together

One could see it coming - as it was evident that something was amiss between director Sajid Khan and actress Jacqueline Fernandez.

The pretty young thing and the potbellied director decided to part ways after three years of relationship.

Sajid met Jacqueline's parents in October last year and there were reports that they were pretty close to getting married as well.

Interestingly, Sajid was always very open about his relationship with the actress but Jacqueline kept her lips sealed.

Mumbai Mirror reports that the couple ended their relationship as a mutual decision to help their separate careers as Sajid's possessiveness was reportedly stalling Jackie's career.

Sajid's possessiveness was stifling for the actress who wanted to pursue her acting career in Bollywood.

The director was way to protective and had a say on the way she dressed, her roles, her friends... everything.

Sajid apparently prohibited Jacqueline from acting opposite Hrithik Roshan as the role demanded her to kiss the hero on-screen in 'Krrish 3'.

She also lost out on 'Jism 2' as she had to shoot sensual scenes with Arunoday Singh and Randeep Hooda and Sajid did not approve of this.

These interferences and over protectiveness became too much for the beauty pageant winner and they would often end up as bickering lovers.

After 'Race 2' Jackie received rave reviews and have many promising offers including one with new heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor.

As for Sajid, he wants to bounce back post his dud film 'Himmatwala'.
