An attendant to mind the flying skirt - that's the royal reporting of the day!

The Duchess of Cambridge better known as Kate Middleton was the "butt" of all jokes on social media last week for showing her rear view to the world.

But is the royal family really worried? Looks like they are.

Kate Middleton has hired someone to watch her bottom and prevent it from being overexposure.

The Duchess will now have a female helper to ensure paparazzi mind their manners and will stop photos of her royal rear getting leaked.

New photos of the Duchess of Cambridge's bare bottom were published last week by a German tabloid and again by an Australian newspaper owned by Rupert Murdoch.

She had a Marilyn Monroe moment during a recent trip with husband Prince William to Australia. A gust of wind from a nearby helicopter exposed the British royal's modesty.

The cheeky picture was reportedly sold to the highest bidder after British publications refused to print the "tasteless" image.

Germany's 'Bild' printed it side-by-side with photos of Khloe and Kim Kardashian, "backsides which have moved us these past few days."

Now, the Daily Star in the UK is reporting that Buckingham Palace officials have decided to employ a woman to accompany her on trips to prevent a repeat picture being taken.

The incident in Australia is not the only time Kate has had to deal with long lens photographers.

Kate faced frequent battles to protect their privacy and modesty.

The most notable case was when topless pictures of Kate appeared in a French magazine in September 2012 taken on their holiday to a Provence Chateaux.

The couple launched legal proceedings and issued a statement saying: “They have been hugely saddened to learn that a French publication and a photographer have invaded their privacy in such a grotesque and unjustifiable manner.

“This is reminiscent of the worst excesses of the paparazzi during Diana’s life and the more upsetting to the duke and duchess for being so."

They were also snapped on their honeymoon in the Seychelles and on their "babymoon" to Mustique when Kate was pregnant with George.

Clarence House refused to officially comment on the publication of the photographs.

A source said the household would ask publications to use their discretion when it came to using the pictures.
