Katrina accepts Ranbir in her life but falls short of marriage deal

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif never speaks to the media - unless she wants to promote her movie or the publicists wants her news to do the rounds.

And as 'Bang Bang' is about to hit the screens she has decided to talk and how!

Katrina has always guarded issues concerning her personal life. She remained impassive about her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor but not anymore.

In two separate interviews to Indian daily, (Hindustan Times, Mid Day) Katrina Kaif disclosed her relationship status with Ranbir.

The actress admits she is aware how people desire for an update about what’s happening in her life whether it's about the bikini-Ibiza episode, or moving out with Ranbir.

But she is not ready to give the day-to-day details of her life and draw a line about her personal life.

"If you ask me generally about Ranbir, I would — rather than commenting on our day-to-day activities — say that he is an extremely important person in my life.

"I have a lot of regard for him. He is an amazing person, and an amazing actor. That’s the best way I can put it. And I feel everyone — to a large extent — is aware of his presence in my life."

But talking about marriage, the actress retreats to her cocoon.

She doesn't want to comment on it. For her marriage is a serious decision, and there can be a lot of changes in one's life that have to be factored in to make a marriage successful.

So, she wants to approach the idea of marriage with a lot of maturity, thought and love.

She tells the newspaper, "When, and if, that happens, it won’t be hidden."

She said, "I think it’s a clear enough statement to make that Ranbir has a very important presence in my life. He is a big part of my life. People can understand, and be sufficiently satisfied with that. Beyond that, at this point, I don’t think it’s necessary to elaborate anymore."
